Operation USO tabs for Education

For the upcoming program, we will continue to collect can tabs to present to the USO at our Princess Community Service event on Monday, April 7, 2014.

These tabs (soda, beer, energy, even V-8) are turned into a local organization that allows the schools and families on base to use them like cash to purchase school equipment and supplies.

Set up a collection container at work, when you have a party, at your church, collect them at a Tailgating Party. We have one family member that works at a golf course and she is collecting approximately 500 per week!

Drop off will be at Princess Orientation, Saturday, April 5, 2014 - or give them to your Princess for delivery.

Below is the wording for the containers (in 40 font or larger):
Deposit Your Can Tabs to Assist in Operation USO Tabs for Education
All Proceeds are being Donated to the USO for military families

National Conference Of State Societies Charity Fund

America's Charities helps the nation’s most trusted charities thrive by generating sustainable income through workplace giving and additional paths. We inspire employers and individuals to reach their philanthropic goals and support the charities of their choice. America's Charities, in partnership with your employer, processes all charitable contributions made through your workplace giving campaign and distributes those funds to your designated charity(ies). Payments are made on a quarterly basis, generally one month after the end of the quarter to allow time for processing.  Consider making a charitable contribution through your workplace to the NCSS Education and Charity Fund.
