NCSS Alert: SOFTBALL TEAMS NEEDED! (2015 "Summer Insanity" is Here!)

Dear NCSS Presidents, Delegates, and Sports Chairs:

The "Boys (and at least 3 Girls) of Summer" need YOU!  Yes, folks, it's Softball Season again!

The National Conference of State Societies (NCSS) needs teams from all 50 states, the 5 territories, and the District of Columbia for the 4th Annual NCSS Summer Insanity Regional Playoffs and Championship Softball Tournament. Please provide the following information (Team Captain/Coach, Email Address, Mobile Telephone Number) to Bill Christian ( by 5PM (Eastern), Tuesday, June 30th, 2015.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you don't already have a Softball Team, please do not despair! Work with the U.S. Senate or House softball leagues, or with the Collegiate Alumni Network (CAN) softball league, or all of the above, to invite one of those teams to represent your state or territory, or invite members from all of the above to form a state society team! Just as long as they "represent" your state, territory, or D.C.! Ideally, we want 56 teams involved in this annual tradition!

As you may remember, the states, territories, and D.C. are divided into four (4) regions of 14 jurisdictions each. The top four (4) finishers from each region will advance to the NCSS "Sweet 16" Championship Softball Tournament (tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 25th, 2015).

The National Conference of State Societies, Cherry Blossom Princess Alumnae and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments teamed together  to assist 35 young women from the DC, MD, and VA area Child Welfare Program as they prepared to attend college/trade school schools in NoVA.  It was an amazing kick-off in July by we still need YOU to help.  Please click on the link: to find out how you OR your Society can help achieve the goal set by our Alumnae for the Holiday season this year!!  Or, check out the Cherry Blossom Princess Sorority page under the PRINCESS PROGRAM TAB at the top of our website.
