Junior Cherry Blossom Princess Program
The Junior Cherry Blossom Princess Program is a cultural program and celebration for young women ages 5 to 16 years old held each year in Washington, DC during the National Cherry Blossom Festival©. The program, formally launched in 2012, is managed by the National Conference of State Societies (NCSS). Throughout one week of the Festival, Junior Cherry Blossom Princesses have the opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural and social events celebrating the unique and enduring friendship between the United States and Japan.
The 2017 Junior Cherry Blossom Princess Program will take place April 1-8, 2017 and will be limited to 50 participants total. Selection of 2017 Junior Cherry Blossom Princesses will be done on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of completed applications. The deadline for participation in the Cherry Blossom Junior Princess Program is until the limit of 50 participants is reached <OR> March 1st, 2017, whichever one comes first. All young women selected as 2017 Junior Cherry Blossom Princesses will be notified in writing via their Parent(s)/Guardian(s).
The 2017 Junior Cherry Blossom Princess Application will be available in January 2017.
