Cherry Blossom Royal Buds of Promise Program

We are proud to have launched the Cherry Blossom Royal Buds of Promise Program in 2024, a special experience for young girls ages 1 to 4.

Our Royal Buds actively participate in the festival by joining the Cherry Queen’s Storytime and the Royal Cherry Blossom Tea Party. Each child is individually introduced and receives a crown from the U.S. and Japan Cherry Blossom Queens. They also enjoy engaging cultural activities and have the cherished opportunity to take photos with our Queens.

The Buds of Promise are warmly invited to attend the Lantern Lighting Ceremony and the NCSS Celebration Gala (tickets sold separately), where they receive special recognition.

Additional Details

• State and Territorial Societies may nominate multiple Buds of Promise; there is no participation limit.

• Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
